Hello All! I just recently applied to local nursing programs and have been plagued with anxiety waiting for letters. I just want to know what is going to happen already! I just figured I would start a thread to see anyone else who has applied to the same programs and what they think their chances are. I am so so nervous.
I am waiting to hear from:
Bristol Community College
Massasoit Community College
Brockton Hospital School of Nursing
UMass Dartmouth...Nursing and Biology
Rhode Island College...My back Up
Massasoit is my first choice...and of course I heard that is usually the last letter to come in. Every day that goes by I stalk my mail lol

does any one know what the application deadline (fall) for UMass Dartmouth is?! I'm stalking the website but can't find it anywhere!
Hi, Umass deadline I believe was Dec 15. But if your an outside transfer we won't find out till may or june. Unless you don't meet the deans requirements, then you will find out sooner.
umass dartmouth had a feb. 1st deadline for nursing
Oh I thought when I dropped off my application that admissions told me 12/15. Who knows. I do know they told me the other day that I mayn not hear til june!

Does any one know when acceptance letters go out for umass d? I have to give my deposit to UCT by April 13, and it's nonrefundable. :/ So I am holding off as long as I can until I hear back from other schools.
I called and they said not until may/June.

Hi everyone,
I got into Brockton Hospital School of Nursing part-time evening program but too am waiting to heard from Massasoit's part-time program. Are you all day-program hopefuls or evening?
Kerri
I applied for all day programs...I was going back and forth regarding massasoit's evening program. I was going to apply just because they had an interview portion. I would have loved to meet with the admissions committee and show them how much I want it. However, I live very far away, and in the session they said you don't get out until 11 or 12 at night sometimes. I just don't want to be having to drive and hour or more home at that time...it could have been the biggest mistake i could have made...we will just wait and see.

I am curious to anyone that got their acceptance letter from UCT when did you take the test and how long ago did you hear from them?? I am still waiting.. they told me we would all hear by April 15th and here we are at April 13th and I haven't heard anything.. I am so sick to my stomach waiting... I took the acceptance testing in February, had my interview the first week of March, where I asked Patricia thought I should retake the test, didn't score as high in science as I would have liked, she told me I was in the top 90% and that I did not have to retake it.. all my information was already there, ie, transcripts, letters of recommendation.. everything so I just assumed I would have heard by now.. and to see that Aorificezczyk already got her acceptance letter and has to have your deposit in by today scares me even more... when did you hear??? Thanks for any information! :)

Hi Christine,
I would call them if I were you. I believe you should have gotten a letter regardless of if you got in or not. I had already taken the TEAS 4.0 at BCC, but since UCT asked for 5.0, I took it at UCT in March. I received my letter just a week after my interview. I would call them today, just incase there was a mistake or it got lost in the mail. Since today is the last day to send the deposit in, it's best to call today. To be honest, it is hard to come up with the funds, so maybe there will be more spots open from people who couldn't kiss $1000 goodbye?? If I get in to Massasoit or UMD, I might have to say goodbye to that money.
