I have not taken the new ATI, but I do remember when I took the older version. I scored lower on my practice tests, but passed when I took the exam. I would not push the date back. Can you retake it if you fail? If you push it back, will you miss the deadline to retake it if necessary? I would go ahead and take the test. If you’re putting forth this much effort, I am sure you will be fine.
Good luck
I can take the test twice in two weeks, but if I still fail any part, I can't take it again for 4 months, which means I can't reapply till next summer.
Gonna keep on studying and probably go ahead and take the test. I have never been one that likes to wait or put things off....well,, unless it's house work!
GirlDotson,
I agree with the previous posters. The practice exam was much harder than the actual exam itself. But to my surprise I scored an overall 82% and on science the one that I was nervous about the most, I scored in the 97 percentile nationally. Don't doubt yourself I am sure you will be fine. Also, if you brought the ATI exams from them you may take both of the practice test twice. I am sure you will be fine, can't wait to hear from you on Monday like my grandmother use to say go break a leg kid!!!

Ok, so I bougt the $0 TEAS V prep book, the $35 practice tests at the ati website, the flashcard book that can be use to study for like 3 or 4 nursing school entrance exams. I have even hired a tutor. I took the first ati practice test before I began studying. Scored like a 68 over all. Just a few points away on all subjects from getting the percentge I needed. For weeks I have studied. I just retook the last practice test and scored 53%. WTH?
Wanted to cry after the first 15 minutes. There were SO many things on there that WERE NBNOT in the dang book! How am I supposed to answer questions that are taught about? Anyhow, I am feeling a bit crushed. I go Mon to take the test, but if I am bombing worse not than I did before, what I am going to do about the test. I can take the sections I faile over again the following week, but if I mess that up, I have to wait till next year. So upset. I had just posted about being excited and nervous about the test, and now I am just petrified!
Right now I guess my only option is to push the test date back, which sucks...
Man, thisstinks. I hate gettin all excited and then coming back to reality.
Sigh...
Ho hum...
