Hi, Has anyone applied for or been waitlisted for the Sonoma State FNP Program? I applied for their Fall of 2012 program and received news that I am number 6 on their alternate/waitlist. I am quite disappointed but would like to know my odds of getting in. I believe they accept 40-45ish people. Thank you!

Hello There,

I was accepted into the program but have not yet reserved my seat, I am not sure if I will be attending. Do you live near the Rohnert Park campus? When will you find out if they have a spot for you?

Hi, I am so glad someone replied. Congratulations on getting in!!They said they will start posting updates on the alternates list starting April 19th. They also said the alternates were to get back to them about whether or not they wanted to be on the list by April 4th. I got back to them the same day I got the email. I live about an hour and half from Rohnert Park but I am more than happy to commute. I want to be in this program so bad. I hope I can get off the alternates list. Waiting is so hard. =]

I too applied for the FNP program at Sonoma State for Fall 2012 and I too am on the alternate list! I was so happy not to get a rejection letter but a little disappointed about not getting accepted. I really want to get in, being an NP has been my goal from the begining and going to Sonoma has been a dream of mine. I really hope we both get to attent! The waiting has me in agony! I live about an hour and a half away as well but that is better than the over two hour drive to Chico State that I was doing before. Good luck to you and let me know if you hear anything!

I wish you the best of luck! What number are you on the alternate list? I hope we both get in also. I've been wanting this since I started nursing school. I am so ready to do this and I hope it all works out!

Hello everyone! I am from georgia. I was placed on the alternates list at Augusta State University. I. Hve tried to get advice from others I guess we will all be waiting together. The students have to accept their acceptance by April 20th....wish. me luck

Yes! I can't find the information anywhere. On the notification email it said "posted on the website" but didn't give a website. I've looked everywhere. How did you even know it was Friday at 4:30? I just saw "Friday." haha...I'm making myself crazy!
