Hi guys! I am starting a thread for us!
I just submitted my application. I did a webinar with [MODERATOR EDIT OF NAMES, PER TERMS OF SERVICE] and they seemed super nice. The webinar was informative!
I am trying to find information on previous application statistics, but I can't find anything 😅
I received a call this past week and it was a positive conversation. The official acceptance letters from the school will be sent out in a few weeks. I might opt for the 8 week assessment course. Anyway, also I was told everyone that applied will receive a call out of respect. All the best! Hope to see you guys on April 26th!
I got an email late last night about admission to Sonoma State! Nothing from the school of Nursing though, and it does not specify which program (part-time or full-time) that I got into... my profile did change from "under review" to "congratulations". I'm going to patiently wait for everything to fall into place before making the final call. Thinking good thoughts for everyone on this thread! See you soon 😃

Yes I had a very similar convo. I took away that I am also in.
There is a "physical assessment" class that we need to take before we can start clinical. We can take it once fall semester starts (go once a week to campus for 8 or 9 weeks) or knock it out over Summer as an intensive class (2 weeks, mon-thurs 9-5/6). I am leaning towards this option because I have kids and still work full time in ED. I'm trying to go per diem, but that's a whole other stressful convo....
he did mention, if there are 10 students in an area, we could take the physical assessment class at an agreed upon location, asynchronous, meaning we wouldn't have to commute to SSU. That's why I'm asking who lives in the area. I know 2 other people who live in Yuba city who have applied and I know at least one is interested in doing the class over Summer. I think he said it would be last week of July/first week of August.
