Someone Make Me Feel Better!

tOOK THE NCLEX-RN TODAY SHUT OFF AT 110.... VERY NERVOUS. ONLY HAD ONE SELECT ALL THAT APPLY, NO MATH, JUST PRIORITY, WHAT WOULD YOU DO FIRST..AND GENERAL WIERD QUESTIONS. jUST WONDERING IF ANYONE ELSES SHUT OFF AROUND THIS NUMBER WITH SUCCESS?

I took the boards on the 15th of June. Nobody could have prepared me for the wait afterwards. I was a wreck, could hardly sleep, didn't feel like eating. I passed with 75 questions, no math, few meds, many many random questions that I had NO clue what the answer was. I just did my best and was really worried afterwards.

The only thing I can say is.... try to be positive and hang in there. There really wasn't anything anyone could have said to make me feel better. Only my result made me feel better.

I guess everybody here who has taken the NCLEX has gone through what you're feeling right now. Just be tough and remain positive. I took the exam last week and I'm still wating to hear from the Cali BON. I'm dying from anticipation but I try to remain in control. Geez, it's really hard but waiting is part of the game.

Mine shut off at 75 .... if you finished at 110, it doesn't automatically mean that you fail (I've read somewhere here that she passed at 110 if that is any consolation to you). No matter what item you finished, it only means that it was at that point that the computer was able to determine whether or not you are a safe and competent nurse.

Well, good luck to both of us. Constant prayers and believe in yourself!!!:nurse:

Your so not alone.....

I passed and felt just like you did at 75, however, 3 friends of mine just passed one with 140, and 2 at 260+. So keep strong, keep busy, the way you feel is the way everyone feels...sending positive vibes your way

From what I understand, math is the lower priority questions while delegation and prioritizing pts is a higher level - if you got more of those types of questions, generally the news is good.

People pass the NCLEX with ALL numbers... people pass with 75, 275, and everywhere else in between. I know the wait is hard, but I do hope you got some good news. I know this sounds so clique, but think positive, try to get your mind off the test.

I wish you the very best of luck!

thanks for the kind words. Does anyone know if they post results on the weekends?
