I would appreciate some advice. I noticed as I have been studying meds, that in these reviews, they include both names for the drugs. In the NCLEX are both included or should I know each one separately? I am so accustomed to certain names that I realize that if I saw the one and not the other, I would probably not recognize the name.
I am not sure if this web site is helping me or hurting me. It is so discouraging to read all these people telling their sad stories. There is no reason to judge anyone who didn't pass but I like to learn from mistakes of others so that I don't repeat them and they don't repeat them in the future. I would love to hear from anyone that failed as to why they believe they failed. Did you review the questions that were on the test and recognize why you got the questions wrong? Were there many questions that simply were never reviewed in these books? Did you find the questions to be similar? Is it possible that you read more into the question than it was asking? I have heard some people touch on infections they weren't familiar with. I have often thought that if it is an infection in a particular area, one could almost guess what the outcome is. However, I know that doesn't always work. Would that be the case?
I would really like some feedback on this. Thank you to anyone who responds.

The exam always has brand/generic names of medications.....so I am sure that you will recognize one or the other!! Best of luck to you!!

I only received one name on 4 of my med questions. I passed, but someone told me they have both and mine did not. Not sure if this is true for all of the meds, but thank god I knew the names of the ones I received because I was expecting to see both generic and trade, this was not the case.
