Emailed excelsior about accepting straighterline statistics and they will NOT accept it because it is a 'core' course. found this on straighterline site also. Deal breaker for me....
*Core Degree Requirements - Excelsior College does not accept outside coursework for transfer credit required for core degree requirements. Excelsior provides a listing of its core degree requirements in its degree program catalog provided on its website.

That seems like an odd requirement given that I would think alot of people may be transferring in credit there.. I think there is a job out there for someone to either help legislate or hand hold persons that want to complete their RN to BSN..
I have seen umpteen thousand different requirements...why the heck does it have to be so difficult? The class content should be challanging but jumping through hoops should not be imho!!

I thought straighterline did the ACE thing; guess not! Thanks for the info. I think straighter line was the only thing I didn't use to get my prereqs done!
