Starting a chain for SoCal Providence RN Residency Program - Feb 2026 Cohort!
Hi guys,
I interviewed yesterday at Torrance. This morning, I received an email from them stating this:
You have been selected to move to the next stage of interviews. We would like to invite you to return on [the date they gave me] to meet in a small-group format with nurse leaders.
This is an opportunity for you to ask questions regarding the unit, its culture, and opportunities for growth in your career. During the meet and greet we encourage you to meet with all the units you may be interested in. The meet and greet is not a requirement to receive an offer but is highly encouraged to give you one last opportunity to make an impression and ensure you and the unit of your choice are a good match. Please note that if you are unable to attend, we do not have any other opportunities for you to meet with our leaders.
Are any of you receiving this? And what are the chances of getting hired?

I'm not sure that's why I'm hoping you guys have the answer. They mentioned meet and great wasn't a guarantee and it was optional. From other threads I heard they had 12 spots only while there were lots of applicants there.

Did you guys interview at Tarzana? I had ALL clinical questions apart from the last question where they asked why nursing. Did anyone else have a similar experience at Tarzana?

Yes, they went right into clinical questions for me! I had a couple of behavioral questions in the end, maybe 3-4.

I think we were just anxious. I remember practicing similar questions before the interview but in the moment you just forget how to answer the question. Did anyone who interviewed on Tuesday, receive an offer/call?

Yes. I interviewed on Monday and got the call today. San Pedro may have a different timeline than Tarzana.
No, we didn't go to the floor to meet the managers. We did take a tour of the hospital after the interview but it wasn't a meet and greet.
