Im jealous,..would you mind sharing if you have a BSN? starting to feel discouraged with an ADN 😞

Same. Internal candidate here. I was told BSN is priority. I plan to get my BSN and apply next round in May.

I have a BSN, and also an internal candidate, I have a coworker who has an ADN and got accepted 2 cohorts ago.  For them to get you as an ADN, it'll depend if you have experience as an RN somewhere else is what she told me.

I'm confused. The new grad program is for inexperienced RNs. How would experience help?

I know they hire experienced ADN nurses but it's less likely for New Grad.

I wouldn't! Someone got hired for South Bay with one.
did you have a referral? I think that is the biggest factor.

Yeah she was working in Huntington hospital in the ER as a new grad there, so she had less than 6 months experience when she had her interview. So it helped her out.

I have an ADN and I'm an internal candidate with 8 years Lvn experience and didn't get a call back 😩 I think BSN is what they're looking for.
