Hey guys! I'm starting this thread for the SoCal Kaiser Permanente RN Residency Program's October 2024 Cohort. Hopefully we can update each other on application processes, interviews, and job offers!

You know, at first I thought it was med surg but now looking at the job description and application, it doesnt say!! So IDK either. And I thought this was an internal applicant. Are you an internal applicant? I am not... and it was originally, "no longer considered" and since 8/2 it changed to, "talent aquistion review in progress." And it is weird because some interviews are group and this one isn't?

I'm actually asking for a friend but she's out of the area and not an internal applicant either ! So she booked a flight before realizing this !! So I said I'd ask around for her

Hi, I got invited to interview for Irvine! Does anyone know how the panel/group interview process is for them? Or have any idea what questions they will be asking? They're asking me to be present the whole time from 8:30am-2pm, which I find to be a very long...Any insight would be appreciated, thank you!!

Hi everyone! Thanks for making this! I wish all of the best of luck. I too applied for the new grad program. I live 2 hrs away so I am anxious as I don't know if I made the right choice. Someone mentioned the pay, I don't know much about the program, but I think you get the raise after 6 months. I found a webinar for the NCAL new grad program. Maybe they work similar. Again, good luck. Does anyone have an interview date yet?

I also got an email today for an interview in the LAMC location!! Everyone is talking about a group interview but for mine I also got an individual scheduled time one and I don't think it's a whole day thing either.

For those that are getting calls or emails about interviews, do you have a BSN? From what I am reading it looks like that's who they are contacting first.

I'm not how to reply to someone. Ken, I got the same email for same location. When are you going? I'm going Thursday. I am so nervous. 
 

also, for the other person asking, I do not have my BSN.

for those saying Kaiser woodland hills is a group interview, did they let you know that ahead of time? because they never mentioned that to me when they called me

My friend said they told her it was a group interview. The area they are conducting the interviews is in a large classroom.
