I am in the same boat, I feel like I should be studying every free moment I have, but I am sick of studying. I take NCLEX-RN on saturday for the first time.

Keep your head up and stay positive!

I felt the same way 10 days before my exam...I was no longer retaining any information and just wanted it over with. Take a little break from your studies. Treat yourself to something nice and focus on the real prize ahead.

Good luck!

Did you get the NCLEX RN study guide from here yet?

Thanks for the positive words of encouragement. I've been using the Kaplan Strategies book (not sure how different these questions are from the online QBank everyone talks about), The PDA (LaCharity) book, the Saunders 5th edition, and online NCLEX 4000. I'm curious to hear which one of these most closely reflects the level of difficulty on the actual NCLEX test. Any insight?

And does one have to excel at SATA to pass the NCLEX? I'm doing great outside of those! :(

nope, what is that nclex rn study guide?

I haven't taken and passed the NCLEX yet, so take my comments as you will. But I can say that, for me, I've had to physically read the review information in the Saunders book as well. I couldn't just sit and do questions. I've probably done 5000 questions by now, but I found that I really needed to review some of the systems, s/s, etc. from Saunders if I was going to use the critical thinking skills needed to answer the questions correctly. I *heart* the Saunders book and CD for this reason. It does an excellent job at providing a thorough review of the important topics. With this foundation, you can move on to answer the questions using your critical thinking skills.
