Long term bad behaviors. Best to give them a long term time out. While every agency has their fans and long term travelers, these agencies have had bad reports and ethics issues for many years. I would also put On Assignment and Aureus on a do not use list. Parallon of course, unless you like HCA, and Fastaff I wouldn't recommend for new travelers. It is much easier to make a short list of agencies to avoid than good agencies!
Use anyone else if you get a good vibe with the recruiter.
I am with American Mobile now, but talking to other companies and probably going to be switching. I am talking to Travel Nurse Across America and dealing with A recruiter who is awesome. I am also talking to Trinity Healthcare which is run by a nurse who used to do traveling. My recruiter there actually left AMN to work at Trinity and enjoys it much more. I am also talking to American Traveler and Medical Solutions. Good luck!

Hello everyone!
I am going to be a first time traveler and hoping to start in August.
I have been doing lots of research and talking to other nurses and recruiters and am still a bit dazed with all the options. I really want to travel to multiple states (North Carolina, the Northeast, midwest, Arizona, California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Hawaii, and Florida where I live now.) I have 5 years of experience in PCU and med/surg/tele.
My top companies I have starting talking to are:
Aya Healthcare, FlexCare, Medical Solutions, Premiere Healthcare Professionals, Trustaff, and integrated medical systems.
Some of them seem great on paper but the recruiters are kind of blah and not overly helpful. I have a couple of friends who traveled with American Mobile and had great experiences but all I see is negative reviews online.
I'm a bit perplexed and want to go about this the right way.
Thanks for any advice and tips about these companies.
