So I read NCLEX book...

I am like OMG?

I know it sounds ridiculous, but will 3 years of clinical experience and learning will help me to answer these questions?

So everything we learn in nursing school will be able me to help me with taking the test?

For example, how much insulin I should give it to to child and such.

Thank you.

Yes, once you are done with your program you should be able to answer the majority of the questions.

I am halfway through nursing school and am shocked at how much I have learned. I can critically think about a patient, know S & S, know a ton of meds, know fluids and electrolytes and am so much more comfortable. I cannot even begin to imagine how much more I will know in a year. Of course, that's if my brain doesn't explode first

Did you just buy a review book to start reading before you were in your program? I'm applying to programs for next year and I wanted to look at what I was getting into but I also think I should wait incase they change the test..

No, I checked out at the public library. :)

I get so giddy at the idea of becoming a mentally competent nursing student like you. :D Hopefully I have what it takes!

I believe there is also a NCLEX App :-)
