Hello! I just graduated with my BSN December 19, 2014. I did my celebrating, and now it is time to get back to work...
Do I prioritize studying for NCLEX and getting licensed or making sure that I have a job? Should I do a little bit of each every day? How should I plan out these next couple months? I understand that many places will not consider new grads until they have passed NCLEX. What should I be focusing on right now? Thanks.
Thanks for the responses. Should I bother applying to positions requiring a license? Will I be considered at all?
In my area you cannot apply without a license but clearly others area will allow that. Check the job listings for potential employers or call the HR department to see if they will accept applications prior to licensure.

NC we all started about 2 months from graduation. any had jobs pending NCLEX b/c of capstone or working in facility. I got my job because the DON where I got my first job had been my clinical instructor at one point. It really is about networking and getting a foot in the door!
