Hi schry2005,

I am starting the rn to bsn online at snhu in April. How has the program been so far? How many hours are needed for assignments and studying each week?

I just applied to SNHU rn to bsn online program. i am currently waiting for acceptance. How long did it take for your acceptance to the program? i am hoping to start my first class on July 13. i am going to take one class at a time. i know there are 10 core nursing classes, but how many gen ed classes are there? i did not see a list anywhere except for the ap 1,2, micro, english comp 1,2, and ethics course. Has anyone out there taken Stats online at SNHU? I'm considering SNHU for my BSN and would love to hear specifics of the program. Others have said it's a time commitment and mentioned papers and group projects. I'd like to know how many hours a week are needed to complete the course work? How long should I expect the papers to be? Are there weekly papers? If someone could post anything current about SNHU, I'd be grateful! Thanks!!

I am starting classes next week. For my first class i have three papers and a final project, plus seven short tests and four discussion posts.

I am taking stats in sept. I heard it is alot of work but doable. Yes there are more than one paper expected for the classes, esp the core nursing classes.

Each class is 8 weeks in length and there are ten core nursing classes.

I like it so far. Nice teacher, organized program. They give out their cell and email if at anytime you need them or have questions. They utilize blackboard for the courses which is easy to navigate. Yes, its alot of writing but its doable..so far lol. Im glad i chose snhu. I think you will like it. :)

That's great I'm glad you like it. I haven't chosen yet. I recently applied for the fall. I was enrolled into another University but the curriculum was so difficult to understand. Are the assignments pretty easy and understandable? I can handle a lot of writing as long as I understand the assignment. Lol.
