Hi everyone! Didn’t see a Samuel Merrit thread for fall 2020. Figured everyone could chat here and maybe share their stats ?

are you talking about the SMU ELMSN program? the name of the thread was confusing since the name of the program is ELMSN...still an MENP program, not sure why SMU likes to name it differently...in any case, If so, I just submitted my application this week! ?

Good! relieved that it's finally complete. Now comes the waiting game. I just need to send my transcripts and apply for financial aid ? how about you ?

How was the HESI for you? I just wish they had more space for the short answers! To get a better understanding of us .

HESI was good, better than my GRE score which I took earlier this year for another school. I scored above what they required so I will not worry too much about it. I second that,on the responses! I found myself having to shorten them more than what I anticipated at the last minute. My stats are alright, not the best, just over a 3.0. I was also part of SMU's Nursing Success Seminar they hold once a year.

Hi all! I went to their Spring Preview Day earlier this year and was informed their class sizes are 24 FNP students and 24 CM students. On the website, it shows that they accepted a total of 63 FNP and 59 CM students in 2018. Hope that helps! I can’t wait to hear back!

I am really hoping we find out about interviews soon!!! Seems like a lot of schools have delayed decisions.
