Hi to all of the new admits! Congratulations! I am currently an N2 student at SMC, and a member of the SNA (student nurses' association). I'm looking forward to meeting you all on June 3rd at the orientation! I'll be one of the presenters so you can all wave to me via Zoom. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me, if you have any questions about anything. If I can't answer them, I'll be happy to point you in the right direction. Good luck with all of the Castlebranch requirements- it's a lot but good practice for what's to come. Haha.

Thank you for offering to help us out with any questions! I was wondering when first year nursing students are able to pick classes through Corsair for the nursing program?

Hi, Karishma! 
Great question. So after you attend the orientation on June 3rd, your name will be cleared to sign up for classes. You won’t need to sign up for N1L, only N1, because you will get an add code for N1L after you get your clinical assignment.

New admits: there is a new FB group for SMC nursing students. Search for Santa Monica Nursing Program and you should find us. Feel free to join! I’ll try to update regularly there with pertinent information.
