  1. November 19th, 10:30- 1:30, I believe! ?
  2. Hi, all! My name is Sarah, and I am the SNA President-elect for SMC’s Spring and Fall 2022 nursing program. Welcome and congratulations to all who have been admitted! I will see you all at the New Student Orientation on November 19th (I’ll be presenting with SNA). I am a current N4 student. We have a FB page, where you can ask questions, get advice, see syllabi, etc. (it’s all SMC nursing students). I will leave the link below! Again, congratulations. I’m excited to meet all of you soon! https://www.facebook.com/groups/840425623541955/?ref=share
  3. New admits: there is a new FB group for SMC nursing students. Search for Santa Monica Nursing Program and you should find us. Feel free to join! I’ll try to update regularly there with pertinent information.
  4. Hi, Karishma! Great question. So after you attend the orientation on June 3rd, your name will be cleared to sign up for classes. You won’t need to sign up for N1L, only N1, because you will get an add code for N1L after you get your clinical assignment. Hope this helps! Sarah
  5. Hi to all of the new admits! Congratulations! I am currently an N2 student at SMC, and a member of the SNA (student nurses' association). I'm looking forward to meeting you all on June 3rd at the orientation! I'll be one of the presenters so you can all wave to me via Zoom. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me, if you have any questions about anything. If I can't answer them, I'll be happy to point you in the right direction. Good luck with all of the Castlebranch requirements- it's a lot but good practice for what's to come. Haha. Best, Sarah
  6. Yes- it’s today.
  7. I received mine on 2/10.
  8. @chrissyh I got an email back in February with links to apply to the university. It was from Jennifer Custodio, not the university, so maybe recheck your email. I haven’t gotten any invitations for interviews, yet, though, so we’re all in that boat together. ?
  9. @Staceyfreddy16 where are you on the Westside? I’m in Mar Vista- also applying to SMC ADN program. All of these programs are so competitive... it’s crazy!
  10. @Staceyfreddy16 well, I can tell you that it has definitely made prereqs more difficult! Ha. Also, I’m curious if you’ve been able to squeeze healthcare volunteer hours in? I haven’t, but I’m hoping that my GPA and TEAS score are still competitive.
  11. Hi, all! I, too, have completed my app to this program and am waiting to hear back, with breath that is bated. Haha. Any other parents in this mix? If there are any parents in the 2019 class, I’d love to hear your thoughts/experience with the school/life balance. I’m excited to be on this crazy train with all of you! Best of luck!
