I bought a 3-1/2 ' one last year and it helped SO much!
My boys named him "Joe Bones"
I found mine on ebay...
We just finished our "bone" test in lab. I think I did well. I had a little problem with some of the depressions and processes in the skull but I finally got it.
One thing we did was to go to the college library and check out a box of bones. Our library has two full skeletons that can be checked out from the media area. We check out a study room so that we could spread all the bones out on the table. We also purchased a book by Frank Netter, MD called Atlas of Human Anatomy. The book costs about $65.00 but I will use it through the whole course. It has pictures of every bone, muscle, and all the systems. We did that for three days and it really helped. The only questions that I had trouble with were two that he hadn't told us anything about.
Hi guys,
I can't tell you how much the following website helped me in A&P, especially the Skeletol System.
It is especially helpful if you have an exam where you are given an actual bone/replica of a bone and have to id it and it's formations, etc.
At my school we were only given a short bit of time during one lab to play around with the bones ourselves and this website really helped out.

I got my Mr. Bones skeleton from a terrific seller on ebay: bugsee. His email address is [email protected]. Terrific guy with a great sense of humor. Tell him I referred you. Good luck!

Hey guys,
Okay, I need some ideas. I had read somewhere that someone purchased a Halloween skeleton (one of the plastic ones) to label and practice the major bones. I thought now would be the best time to look into purchasing one. I am looking for ideas on where I might find one. I checked Gordman's, and Michael's....any ideas....
Thanks guys,
Jen
