Where in nursing cas can you see if they have received your transcripts?

How long did it take for you to show up in your application?

For SJSU it took about 4 days since it's electronic, but my other school does it through snail mail and that took about 15 days

Im so close to submitting my application. Im so nervous. Idk how competitive our application pool is going to be.

Do you guys all have a lot of experience with volunteering????

I have volunteer experience in general, but none in healthcare.

For the Supporting Information section, we don't have to put anything right? For SJSU at least?

I actually had the same question! Were you able to figure it out? I sent both transcripts just in case.

Also, this might be a silly question but does anyone know if we have to fill in all of the classes we took in the transcript entry, or just our nursing prerequisites?

(sorry for posting twice, i am new allnurses and they won't let me delete)

Yeah, I don't see SJSU as an option. In the mean time, I filled out all of the other stuff, like the transcripts, college attended, and personal info.

Do you guys know who I should see if I have questions about the NursingCAS application? Since I took some prereqs at 2 different community colleges, do I need to send all of the transcript request forms to them individually?

I actually had the same question! Were you able to figure it out? I sent both transcripts just in case.

My understanding is that you include EVERYTHING even AP courses if any. Since we we weren't asked for any extra information I assume the Supporting Information section should be blank for SJSU. That seems more geared towards the schools that consider experience and such, like SFSU & Chico. I just submitted my application :o

I didn't put anything for the Supporting Info. I just opted out of all the stuff that wasn't asked for in the instructions in the program materials.

Thanks! I figured it wouldn't make a difference since we weren't asked for anything extra. Let the waiting begin....

I was under the impression that we only needed to provide the grades that were listed on the bottom of the transcript area, so the 11 classes. Did you ask any SJSU nursing advisors whether we needed ALL the classes taken on the transcript?

I did not ask an advisor, but on the application there is a section that lists what the schools need. I remember Chico specifically asking for Pre recs only while SFSU and SJSU asked for a "transcript entry". I also watched an instructional video that said to include everything even AP scores. I included everything because even if its not needed there wont be a problem since all the prereqs I actually selected and matched. I'm really not sure if we had to or not but i did it just to be safe
