Hey guys! I thought I should start this thread as the semester/quarters are coming to an end and bringing us closer to submitting the application! I just want to get a general idea of the pool applicant for the Fall 2015 semester.
Does anyone know the cutoff for Spring 2015?
Fall 2014 cutoff was 7.35 so it probably raised.
PreReq GPA - 3.80
TEAS - 86.5 % (plan on retaking it)
impaction score - 7.56
I hope I can get a better score after retaking the TEAS V!

I think that as long as your SJSU portal doesn't have anything on your "to do list" that you're good to go.
And related to that - did people send their transcripts to both the School of Nursing AND SJSU admissions?
I sent mine to the SON with my "nursing packet" according to the checklist, but only there.
My "to do list" shows that my transcripts are still needed, but I'm not sure if I need to send them two sets? (assuming it's not too late)
and my stats:
Pre-req GPA: 4.0 (overall including 1st undergrad degree is 3.79)
TEAS: 93
From what I've read Impaction Score is just pre-req gpa, correct?
if so - Impaction Score: 8.04

Are you an SJSU student? I only put a sealed official transcript along with my packet and did not have to mail another one to the Admissions office. However, since it is on your To-Do list I'm assuming that you're a transfer? I'm guessing the school needs your transcript for SJSU Admission, separate from the SON.
Hi everyone! I just checked last year's Fall acceptance forum and it seems that letters will probably be sent out/ received by the end of April or beginning of May. Good Luck to everyone!
Hi everyone! I just stopped by the Nursing Department this morning and they told me that they're mailing letters out April 21st. There are 160 applicants and they're accepting 60 students for Fall 2015.
Did any of you attend the mandatory transfer orientation yet? Do you know if not attending this or not submitting the 'intent to enroll' affect the nursing department decision?
I really want to wait until after I hear back the nurs. application results before taking further steps.
