SJSU Fall 2014

Hi there! I started this topic since I couldn't find any threads for SJSU fall 2014 applicants. Care to share your GPA, TEAS scores, and impaction scores to get a better idea of the competition this season?

My stats are:

GPA (for 5 prerequisites): 3.95

TEAS: 90.7%

Impaction: 7.89

Which schools do you guys have a better chance of getting into (just taking into account the impaction scores/points that you have accumulated and the previous year's admitted students' stats.)?

I only applied to sjsu lol. Never finished the nursing apps for the other schools.

I think we should be getting our decisions this week.

For fall of 2013, people actually got emails/letter around the 17th

Yup, that's what I suspected also from reading that. I was hoping we'd get arouns the 18th. The anticipation is too great >_

I called them. They said they will send out the letter either this Friday/Saturday or next Monday/Tuesday.

@navim04, do you know if they are only sending out letters by mail or if they're sending both email and letter mail?

I don't think sjsu does email. It'll be paper letters.

I'm hoping they start sending it out this week :/ I'm impatient, anxious, and nervous. According to the forum for last year's (Fall 2013) applicants, SJSU said they'll send out letters on April 26th also but people started receiving letters on the 18th already. Nevertheless, we'll still have to wait >__

Not really. We have already done the best we could. Now, it's just patience. I listen to music if I start feeling anxious about the results. Rey to keep your mind distracted! Stress is never good.

ugh, i hope there's some way to check online or they email us...my mailman has lost my mail before :/

Hello everyone!

I was looking for an update on when to expect our letters and found this forum :)

Good work you guys, those are some good impaction scores. I hope we all get into good schools!

I only applied to SJSU and am currently a third year student here. If I'm not accepted, I'll apply to other schools.

Here are my stats: Teas 82, Pre-Req GPA 3.7 (Physio, sigh...) = 7.27
