Is there anyone here that is applying to the San Jose State University nursing program for Fall 2013?!
BigCatMeows - I spoke with Student Health today. A physical exam for the nursing program is about $24/25. The lady wasn't sure, but she believes a titer costs about the same. Couple those with the drug screening test, and the total price is about a hundred dollars.
duhfishermayun408 - An official course catalog is not out yet, though you can view courses by logging into your MySJSU account and clicking "search for classes" on the upper right hand side of the home screen. Bear in mind that the courses listed are liable to change (ie. added or deleted) as it is still early. Still, it's a good reference point for starting a time table.

Oh ok thank you, so do you do when do we need the physical done by?
I havent recieved the acceptance letter yet because i live kinda far
You turn in the health statement and titer results at the workshop, which is in August, so you've got until then to complete both. They only encourage you to do the latter ASAP, because the boosters can take up to weeks to finish (if you need to do them at all).
There's still a lot of time left, so I wouldn't worry too much about deadlines right now with the exception of the response form + fees.

so sorry if this is a dumb question,,... but what is a titer?
And also, do you know when they need the background check to be in?
It just means you need to get your blood drawn to determine if you test positive for a desired immunity. The acceptance letter explains everything, so no worries.
I reckon the background check needs to be done by the same date your response form and fee are due. This is easy, because all you need to do is make the order online.
