SJSU, CSUEB, SFSU Nursing Fall 2018

Hello fellow pre-nurses!

I am currently applying to EVC, SJSU, CSUEB, and SFSU's progams for the Fall of 2018. I wanted to get some feedback to any others applying to these programs. What's your GPA/TEAS score like? I'm scheduled to take my TEAS for the first time 12/2 and I'm pretty nervous. Hope to hear back!

wow with those stats you'll definitely get in! I'm currently studying to retake the TEAS again this Feb. I'm using the ATI manual and mometrix book. Hopefully I score in 90s. *fingers crossed*

Hey jaymeeclarisse,

So I just got my score report for my second attempt and I did WORSE! :( I scored an 82.7. I did worse on the English and Math portion, but I scored higher on the Science and Reading sections. I should have spent more time studying the English section because that's what brought my score down the most. Good luck to you! I'm going to submit my app with my score of 84.7 for SJSU. My impaction score will be around 6.5 so my chances aren't completely shot. I got into EVC's program and will go there if I don't get into the other programs.

Hey, friends! I applied to CSU Stanislaus with a 4.0 science GPA, 3.5 overall GPA, and a 95.3% on my TEAS... if money weren't an issue, I would have totally applied to SFSU for my BSN. Unfortunately, I have to live at home with my parents in Modesto through nursing school. Maybe I can move to the Bay for grad school.... I'd love to become a DNP at UCSF :-)

Hi everyone! I applied to CSULA and CSUEB. I got an email this afternoon at around 3pm and I fortunately got accepted into the CSUEB Nursing Program at Hayward. And I was also offered admission at LA about 3 weeks ago. Congratulations to those who got accepted and good luck to those who got waitlisted and to those who are still waiting to hear decisions for other nursing institutions!

GPA:4.0, Pre Req GPA: 4.0

TEAS: 92%

Hi there!! Sorry for getting back so late. I'm currently attending EVC's program. I was denied to all other programs. Good luck to you!! EVC has been amazing thus far.
