Can anyone advise on what the program at SIUE is like? how the interview process goes, the number of applicants compared to the number of students accepted ect. Thanks MJ
I have applied to this program, however, I do not know much about it. I have spoken many times with the graduate advisor and she has been very helpful to me. I do know that they are sending out interview letters in Dec and plan on interviewing the first and second Sat. of Jan. Two days does not seem like it would provide much time for the interviews, I will have to wait and see if I get a letter.
I applied last year and recieved notice from them that I would have to repeat my chemistry courses to be considered as I had taken the bulk of them 8 years ago. I had just the semester prior taken organic for my own benefit but they didnt seem to care. I have heard that they where still trying to establish clinical sites as they lost their position at Barnes (i believe).
I was wondering if anyone else had applied to SIUE CRNA (Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville) program for the Spring 2011 term.
Has anyone received an interview letter? I know interviews will be held September 10, but wanted to see if anyone knew any more about the admission process, what to expect or anything about the program that might be helpdful.
Any advice from current students would help as well. Thanks!
I also applied at SIUE for spring 2011...I have not received an interview letter either. I am hoping it will be coming soon, the last letter said they were going to reivew the applications over the next 3 weeks, which it has been almost 4 weeks!
I also applied for the crna program at SIUE for summer 2011. I haven't received an interview letter yet but am crossing my fingers and praying hoping for a letter :) They should be coming soon i hope. All the best to everyone.
I got an interview letter at siue :) So excited but at the same time am now scared of the interview! Anybody else got a letter?
Got a letter for an interview in the mail yesterday... wondering what the writing portion is going to be like, haven't had an interview yet that was structured this way (?) any previous student's advice would help.... It does sound like we will know a great deal about the program when it is all said and done, which is helpful when deciding on where to go if were chosen for the next term
Good luck in the interview, I however did not get an interview The only thing i can think of is that I do not have my chemistry or physics class finished yet? Guess I'll just work on them and then any other classes I can take as an unclassified student!
Congratulations for the interview. Are you from Illinois? I am also curious to know what the writing is all about. I guess we'll find out on Sept 10! :)
I sent you a pm. Thanks
I don't think i can pm yet. Hopefully soon though :) Did you also apply to SIUE? Did you get an interview??? Let me know.
