Situation update

Published

After talking to my nursing advisor and to my parents everything will really be okay. My nursing advisor sat down with me and we had a talk that was extremely needed like a long time ago. She told me she feels that I am not doing as bad as I feel I am doing. She said she has been watching me all of last semester and all of this semester so far and she said that all though tend to worry more than I should. She also said I am a really good student. I told her about my A/P and patho skills and then she quickly put me on the spot just to see how much I really can she gave me A/P tests and Patho tests and I passed all of them the lowest I got on one was a 92%. I told her I don't feel like I remember anything and she said typically you don't right away until you start thinking about it because it has been a while since I had A/P. She also feel that even though I may not be a 4.0 in the books. I am a very good clinical wise and do really good work in clinicals that has been noted as superior. We also devised a plan that includes exercise because she feels that my problem is stress and we went over various stress management techniques including exercise which will help with the stress level and she is right because I use to exercise while I was in school before this semester but I did not experience any stress or it was very little. So I know I need to get some exercise. I told her I worry a lot because I want to be sure I can get in to graduate school and she told me I will and she knows that because she said I am a very good critical thinker and I am willing to do whatever it takes to climb up the ladder.

As far as my parents I talked to them and they had no idea I was so stressed out all though I live with them. They told me they are sorry for not seeing that and I said it is not their fault and they told me they are willing to help out more and to keep my little girl a few nights a week while I go to the library and study.

So now I feel so much better and feel like there is someone who does actually care and will be the emotional support that I can sit down with and talk things through so I can get through this and over my Ex.

Oh by the way I just have to share this I got a 10/10 on my pharmacology quiz so it pulls my overall grade up to an 85%. I have a test in pharm Coming up and I hope the test will pull my grade up to an A. The rest of my nursing courses this semester so far I have A's in them.

Thanks for hearing me vent positively
