I just moved to Chattanooga and am going to be interviewing at Siskin, just wanted to hear from anyone who works there now or has been there before (pros/ cons)?

I worked at Siskin for two weeks. I have heard nothing but cons. Too many patients for one nurse. One of the patients wandered off and fell down a flight of stairs. They just built a fairly new addition and ppl have been hauling tail out of their. Their elderly patients are mistreated. Hopefully someone else will post some more of what they know since I wasn't there long. It might not be that bad but from what I heard I would look into Park Ridge or Erlanger.

Actually,
The pt did not fall at Siskin hospital. That was St. Barnabas NH. It is not an extention of Siskin it is a new nursing home. Siskin does not own or operate St. Barnabas.

One of my neighbors is a CNA at Siskin. He's planning on working there after completing his nursing degree. He has no plans to work at St. Barnabas. These are indeed, two different entities...just like Erlanger and Siskin are, despite the bridge connecting the two.
Thank You, I am sure Siskin will Thank you as well. I wish them the best of luck..
