I am a single parent to an 8 year old and looking to travel again. I did a couple of 7before my son started school and my mom was with me to watch him while I worked but I'm afraid she may not want to do this again. Are there any single parent travelers out there with school age children and how did you handle it? I have a friend who has been homeschooling her kids for the last 7 years so I know where to go for that and kind of how to go about it but looking for anyone with similar situation. Any advice, comments, or suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks! :rolleyes:

I take my mom with me but I have 3 children. I'm looking for information to home school my children. Any info is appreciated

Thanks for the reply. I'm hoping I can talk my mom into going cuz it's not like she'd be doing anything else anyway! Right now my son has been enrolled in public school so homeschooling would be foreign territory but I know I could do it. A friend of mine goes through Christian Liberty Academy (homeschools.org) and she loves it. She said they send you all the books along with a structured curriculum. Where all have you gone to so far and what hospitals have you worked at? Any positives or negatives about these places? Thanks again!

I'm currently in western NY. I'm a LPN dialysis nurse. This is my 2nd assignment. I went to Montana last summer. It was lovely the people were so nice except this one lady who my company used for housing she was horrible and trying to be in my business. Other then that both experiences have been been good

I.homeschool my son through keystone online schools. They have been around a long time and know how to do it....
