Just getting the thread started for those who applied and are waiting for updates. 

Hmm I haven’t gotten anything unless they send rejections after acceptance then that’s not good news for me haha ? congrats if you got in!

Aww thank you! I got an offer ? I am not sure if I will accept it but grateful to have the option for sure. My email was sent out at 10:21am EST and the sender was from the director of Graduate Admissions (I think Allnurses is weird about name dropping here). The subject line was "admission decision from Simmons University"

Would you mind me asking how was your GPA and did you have any healthcare experience?

That is fine! I cannot remember if they only looked at pre-requisite GPA or if it was a whole degree GPA. My previous degree (BS in Biology) was a 3.4 and then I took the remaining pre-requisites and ended up with a cumulative 3.6 afterwards or so. If we were just looking at the pre-req then I think it's about a 3.8. 

I'm an EMT although I didn't get to work for long before the pandemic shut everything down. I have about 2 years of experience of being a research assistant at the UF Cancer Center. During undergrad I wanted to be a doctor so I already had healthcare experience from doing things like volunteering frequently in mobile clinics and other stuff like that.
