hi all!

i will be starting at simmons in the fall (more like july actually) in the direct entry msn program, and wanted to say hi and start a thread for future classmates.

has anyone else made their decision yet? i sent in my deposit and have gotten several letters with lots of different information. i'm really excited to start and can't wait to move back up to boston (even if it means eating ramen for a while ;))

I'm finishing up two of my prereqs starting May 19th and I will see you this June/July.

I'm really looking forward to class and lab this summer. Are you both going to the orientation?

I'm anxiously awaiting our fall schedule... I'm sure they'll give us info at the orientation, but based on the classes posted online, it looks like we will have very busy days on Tuesdays and Thursdays!

Hi ladies!

I will be at orientation - ordered my stethoscope last week and am really excited to meet everyone :wink2: I don't know about you but I'm already feeling a bit overwhelmed with all of the paperwork/financial aid/scheduling. I'm hoping that they'll cover more of that stuff at orientation.

Any idea what courses we'll be taking in the Fall?

I agree with you, I'm already very overwhelmed! I brought my most of my paperwork to the school today. All I have left to do is get re-certified in CPR and I'm doing that in 2 weeks... assuming they don't ask us for anything else!

The thing that is stressing me out the most is the fall schedule! I'm sure they'll tell us all about it at orientation, but based on the sample curriculum on the website it looks like we'll be taking Normal and Abnormal Human Physiology, Variances in Health Patterns of Adults and Elders, Integration of Pharm and Patho, and Health Assessment. I think there are also 2 labs... I checked the classes on AARC to find out when they meet, and it looks like everything is Tuesday/Thursday. So I'm anxious to find out when we have clinical!
