I haven't been able to find any threads specifically for Simmons for this application cycle.
Anyone else apply to the DE FNP program (9/4/14 start)?
My application status just went to Decision Mailed today. They said we wouldn't hear anything until after March so it's quite possible it's a rejection! Nevertheless I thought I'd start this in case anyone else has any updates.
Does anyone know if once you're in the "grad portion" of the program if you can do the dual degree track with the Harvard MPH?
I was accepted to Simmons and went to visit today since the deposit is due on the 28th! I really like the program but it is expensive. Tough decisions ahead!
I applied to Simmons and was wondering if anyone received a letter from financial aid that said a student information form is to be filled out before they receive any sort of financial aid. It also asks for a Simmons ID which I did see on top of my financial aid letter. I have not been denied or accepted yet and was just curious to see if anyone received this form before they were accepted?
Did you receive that form before you were accepted? When your decision was sent, how long did it take to receive your acceptance letter? My decision was sent on Monday, but I haven't received anything yet.
Thanks for your response HCE2014. Did your letter say you had a provisional acceptance? That's what my letter said today. It's probably because I didn't take Organic Chemistry, but I took two semesters of General Chemistry and I thought that would've sufficed. I went to the information session and I'm pretty sure that the director of admissions said that two semesters of general chem was okay, unless the prereqs suddenly changed and Orgo is now required.
When they mail a decision, it changes to "decision mailed" on the portal. It might take a while for the letter to actually arrive though since I've been waiting a few days for mine so far!
