Simmons College Dix Scholar Fall14

Hi! Has anyone applied for Simmons College Dix Scholar nursing program for Fall 2014? My application status has changed to "decision mailed" and I am getting anxious because I read most people receive phone calls. I did get a letter from financial aid saying I need to fill out a Student information form for Dix Scholars, and I didn't know wether or not I should take that as a good sign. Has anyone had experience with this?

This is so nerve wracking lol. I don't want to get my hopes up but that financial aid letter put them up there lol. I know it is probably standard, but the tone of it just made me even more anxious! :nailbiting:

I fell the same way! I would be crushed if I didn't get in. But someone told me that they let you reapply to the program if you don't get accepted. I hope I get in the first time around!

Hey I applied for Fall 2014. My admission counselor needed an updated transcript from my college that I'm at now. I checked my application today and it says my application is on hold. I'm wondering if this is a good sign. What do you guys think? Also do you think I'll have to wait tip the end of the month now? I heard they do admissions meetings at the end of every month. I haven't heard anything about the application being on hold before. At this point I can't tell what a good sign is or bad sign is! I asked my admission counselor about the end of the month thing because I missed the January 1st deadline but she said I was fine and my application status has changed to decision mailed so I don't know how true the end of the month thing is. Also I keep hearing that people receive phone calls if they get in or credit evaluations and i didn't get either so idk if thats a bad sign. Good luck to you!!!

CONGRATS!!!! :up: Before you received your letter did you get any type of credit evaluation in the mail without requesting it? And did they sent a letter only or was it a big envelope? Sorry i'm just so anxious and want to be prepared when mine comes in the mail lol

Thank you! I sent everything in by December 1st. Then sent my final grades in once they came in. I hope you hear good news soon!

Now I just saw that my application got moved from fall to summer. Does anyone know what that means?
