I failed the NCLEX-RN on Jan 28. I got my results in the mail, sent back my interim permit and paid the $75 to re-apply. My 45 days will be up March 15... but I have not yet received word from the BRN that I can schedule again. Aren't they supposed to send me a new ATT or something so I can sign up again? I sent everything almost two weeks ago. Do they wait until after the 45 days have passed before they send me something? I hate California.

Sign up with pearsonvue and they will send your ATT once the BRN OK's it
Thank you! That is what I needed to know. All this time I was waiting for something in the mail. I registered... can they send me an ATT before my 45 days are up and tell me not to register before then, or will they wait the 45 days and then send me the ATT? Thank you so much again! It's all so confusing.
Pearsonvue will not send ATT until the BRN tells them is it OK and the BRN will not do that until your 45 days are up. Well that is my understanding

Do u need to pay the $200 fee to re-take the exams? Just took the boards yesterday, just anticipating. thanks.
You will have to pay pearsonvue all over again. However hang in there, many feel that they have failed when they haven't. Good luck

why did you pay $75 again? is your registration expired already? i think registration is valid for 2 yrs ... you only need to pay $200 at pearsonvue for the exam ... that's what i think
Some BON/BRN will require a small fee when reapplying to sit the exam. Not all do so
