signed contracts for working in the US

Published

Just interested to see how many of you now have actual contracts already signed for working in the US. And in what type of facility?

according to my agency's logo they "staff all Major NY Hospitals All Units All Shifts"

as of now i only have interest in E.D. but not yet decided which hosp. in NY.

By the decription, is it Whitegloves by any chance?

A staffing agency?

They also do long sontract staffing, not just per diem, if it is who I am thinking of.

i've signed a contract for 2 years in a hospital in East Bay SF, it is a non-profit hospital......suzanne, is it true that relocation bonuses are heavily taxed? in the state of California, do you know how much the taxes account for?

If the bonus is paid all at once, then it is taxed like it is your salary for the two week period or whatever. If you can get them to split it up over a few months, it would be better. The tax will be at least 10% of it, and can go highter. Again, it depends on how much the bonus is for. It could be as high as 30% or more.............depends on how the paperwork is handled on it.
