+1 When does their program begin? August?

That's wonderful news! Congratulations!

Shock is exactly what I felt when I received my acceptance email from CSUS. Shock was followed by much jumping up and down and screaming and giggling for several hours afterward. I'm sure it must have looked rather silly from a grown woman...but I didn't care!

Congratulations!!! :nuke:

unfortunately sierra seems to be more strict on grades/gpa than the others. they always ask if you have had to re-take any of your bio-sciences as it does not look good to do so. though i have heard of people getting into arc after re-taking a class. you should call and make an appointment with terri maddux at sierra...she'll set everything straight. she is a counselor that works along side the nursing dept. so she knows exactly what you'll need to know. hope this helps?

good luck!

Congratulations to all of you that were accepted into Sierra College's Nursing Program. I graduated in December 2007 from Sierra and I received a comprehensive education and was hired immediately after I passed the NCLEX exam. Sierra College's program is a tough program, but you are very well prepped for the real world of nursing. I started out working on a telemetry unit as a new graduate and have found very little that I know little about since I have been working as an RN. Hang in there, times will be tough and exhausting, but worth it in the end. The pay is excellent 90,000+ a year to start and be prepared to work the night shift (3-12 hour nights or 5- 8 hour night). Congrats again to all of you! :yeah:
