Hi everyone...so i got to see my floor for the first time and did feel intimidated. i worked as a nurse extern and assistant before, but i am still....quite frightened. this is my first rn job.
One of my challenges is that I am naturally shy. Im afraid it shows..ive been called at a previous job a "saint" lol...i know not being assertive is not safe for the patients...most people at the health field have visibly tough personalities...I hope to develop that.
Any advice on how i can overcome the jitters? If you are naturally shy also, how did you overcome it?

Hi All,
I will be going to nursing school soon. I'm glad to know that I'm not the only introvert here. I'm a very quiet and shy person, and I hope that this does not hinder me from becoming a great nurse.
