Shut off 102+ questions and I know I got last question right!

Published

I'm having a hard time right now. I took the NCLEX yesterday at 8am. I ended at around 102. I kept telling myself that I wouldn't look at the number of questions I had... And take note... This is my 5th time taking the exam in less than 3 years. The blank blue screen came up after I pressed submit and I literally stared at the computer and was like "Noooooooooo!" I thought... I answered the question correctly. Why would you stop on me?! Lol.

It was a priority question and I'm 100% sure it was correct!

But the exam stopped!!! And now I'm afraid. I need words of encouragement! This is my 5th time and I didn't do the PVT trick because I've done it the last 4 times and got the bad pop up. I'm just too scared.

I used Uworld for questions and Saunders for information. Uworld is THE best for questions. It was the most similar to the nclex. I've used HURST and Kaplan in the past. I've also used other random NCLEX books. But this time around was definitely Saunders and Uworld that helped me through my 5th time.

What % do you need with uworld to be ok for Nclex so they say ?

I think UWorld suggested you get a 60% average, but they say (as evidenced by some NCLEX takers on this forum) people have passed in the mid 50s range.

Hi Scaredpotential, how were your results? If you passed, what was your average and were you able to devour the entire Qbank. I'm only near 1000 questions and inwardly dying, grinding away at the rationales. My exam is only weeks away.

I was told an average score of 60%. But did I? No. Hahahaha. It was more like 58%. But I tried to not let it bother me. Also, I still have no results. Aaahhhh!

Are uworld questions all passing level? Some above passing?

Yes, Scaredpotentialnurse, it's been 4 days since you took the NCLEX. Hoping for you NCLEX success. :) If we don't hear from you on this thread, one can easily assume your inevitable fail.

Nothing in the mail. Previous times I would get a letter in the mail the same week saying that I failed. But nothing. No news is good news? I'm being hopeful! But nothing!

I took my nclex on Monday and I have not received anything yet. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Oh my goodness, the anxiety for both of you must be intense waiting for results. Too bad you don't have quick results like other states where you just pay the 8 bucks on the Pearson-Vue and BAM! Quick results! Wishing you both the best! :D

I'm not sure how to gauge that but they give wonderful explanation as to why something is right or wrong. The website says that it's constantly updating the questions. I'm telling you though, the questions resembled the nclex A LOT. When answering questions while taking the nclex I caught myself rationalizing like Uworld. Hahaha.

I'm just passing through!! But I really hope you pass and become the best RN Ever!!!!!!! Good Luck!!! :)

Thanks! It is intense waiting for the results to come in the mail. I'm trying my best not to think about too much. Hoping for the best.
