Shut off at 75 Pass/Fail

Hello,

I took the NCLEX exam today and it shut off at 75 questions. I had 18 SATA questions. Rushed home and did the PVT and got the good pop up.

My nerves are a wreck because I know I either did really well or really bad. Honestly I feel

like it could go either way. The wait is killing me.

Has anyone has the PVT with good pop

up and failed?

A far better indication of pass/fail at 75 questions is your performance in school. Stopping at 75 questions means you did extremely well and passed or you were doing very poorly and the computer determined that you are too far below the pass line, so it did not give you any more questions. If you did very well in school (A/B), then there is a high probability of passing at 75 questions otherwise it would have continued to give you more questions. If you barely passed school, then it is more likely that you failed.
