daydreaming a different job

I've been thinking, about what else I might do as a nurse. Right now, I'm sitting pretty, satisfied, only work two 12s a week, teach an online class..... but I get restless sometimes.

Started looking at cruise ship jobs. Doesn't say if "medical staff" are officers or crew, which makes a difference about accomodations! At my age (and snoring), not sure I want to share a small ship cabin with someone else. Then got to reading "what its like onboard", and saw since the ship is always open and sailing, crew work 7 days a week, for 10-13 hours a day! Granted, you get 45 days or so paid time off between contracts, but still..... So, does that apply to the nurses? I'd have to call them directly to get more details.

Not guaranteed days off when in port either, so may not get to actually see all those great places the ships go. Contracts are 4 to 9 months according to one cruise line's website. Others were even less specific about working conditions.

So, what do you day dream of doing?
