When was your first "nurse" moment?

So, I'm always seeing threads on allnurses about medical mistakes made on TV/movies. Before I started nursing school, I didn't catch too many of them. But I was just watching Nurse Jackie, and I noticed her hang an IVPB at the same level as the primary IV, and my first thought was "nope, the primary IV should be lower!" When was the first moment you felt like you were actually becoming a nurse?

Mine was about the time I was telling the patient "I'll let the nurse know," and realized that I AM the nurse.
