Hi everyone. About a year ago, I gave a collective thank you on this site to the nurses who were so supportive during my colonoscopy/endoscopy. Another thank you is due to the two nurses [or possibly physician's assistants - they didn't wear ID] who were so great during my recent oral surgery.
The first nurse's patting my arm during the procedure and telling me it would be over soon was, for some reason, so reassuring that I didn't need to wave my hand for another injection. And the second nurse's coming into the room afterwards, gently examining the site and telling me how to take care of it was more informative than any printed set of directions.
Unfortunately, I didn't get their names [why weren't they wearing ID?], but when the oral surgeon called with my lab results, (benign, thank God), I specifically complemented his staff, describing them as best I could. So thanks again nurses, for all you do.

I am not a nurse or anything but I do think that nurses need more credit for all that they do. You rock!
