Should i postpone the NCLEX exam?

Nursing Students NCLEX

I am scheduled to take my exam this coming Monday and so far I have done all of my question trainers about 91% of the qbank questions, the diagnostic exam, the 4 sample tests, and the practice test with the following scores:

Cumulative Qbank: 53%

Sample Test 1: 50%

Sample Test 2: 52%

Sample Test 3 (Priorities): 87%

Sample Test 4 (Alternative): 28%

Question Trainer 1: 59%

Question Trainer 2: 55%

Question Trainer 3: 42% (rushed because it was due last day of school)

Question Trainer 4: 55%

Question Trainer 5: 60%

Question Trainer 6: 59%

Question Trainer 7: 58%

Kaplan Practice Exam: 57%

Diagnostic Exam: 67%

I know they say to aim for at least 60-65 on all the tests, but i have never been able to get that high. I plan on taking my readiness exam tomorrow and hopefully that'll give me a better idea of where I'm at, but as of now I am freaking out! I really don't want to have to retake the NCLEX as I start my new job in 3 weeks.

Congrats RN.........Im not overly nervous or anxious....although respiratory is my weakest area i feel confident that I know enough to pass

:) thank you! and that means you're already in good standing! I wouldn't stress about respiratory and any particular subject for that matter. It really is just testing the basics for what you know to be a nurse; you're not going to find any questions about any particular specialty on there.

What is the pearson vue trick to see the "good pop up"? Have not heard this!

Basically you go to Pearson Vue and reregister for the exam exactly like you did the first. It will take you all the way to the credit card screen where you need to fill out your credit card info and press submit twice (i used an expired gift card with no money on it just in case). The "good" popup says something along the lines of our records indicate you have recently scheduled this exam, another registration cannot be made at this time. The "bad" pop-up is either your card actually gets charged or it declines your card.

Important to note that the exam IS scored twice, once immediately after the exam, and once again 24 hours later. So it is possible that you "fail" the first scoring and get the bad pop up and 24 hrs later you are rescored, pass and get the good pop up. However I have NEVER heard of anyone immediately getting the good pop up and end up failing.
