Should I try HD?

I have been looking at switching specialties from critical care to dialysis. What do you all find are the advantages/disadvantages? I am CRRT certified from critical care. I am interested in either clinic or acute care.

I work at one, my BFF at the other, both of us got good training. You will be trained for tech first, but don't fret, you have to know that role, otherwise you can't direct what you don't know. I say this because I've seen nurses quit, saying that "I wasn't hired to be a tech!" So if you decide to do it, just go with the flow, it'll be alright!
