I need to take this course and none of the in person classes are working into my schedule. I'm considering taking it online. I've already taken A&P 1 and got an A (not online). I really felt I could have just read the book and gotten the same grade without the benefit of the in person lecture. Anyone have feedback on taking this course online? I'm taking A&P 2 at GCC this fall and was thinking of taking the path online during the same time. I took bio 201 and 205 this spring and did well (it was hard though!). Thanks for any input!
Changed my mind again, taking it online at GCC. I am taking it with the instructor the previous poster mentioned. I'm also taking A&P 202 but not online so hopefully I can handle all this. I have a lot of time to study so I feel like I can get through it. I may take philosophy 103 (I need it for Chamberlain school since PHI 101 won't transfer) but I don't know if thar would be too much with the other 2 classes, I can't imagine that class being hard.
well, now I found a class at PV that might work in my schedule...uuggghh...I'm being wishy-washy about this. I may take it there then go to GCC for A&P and take the PHI class online. I can't find anything about the instructor for this HCR class at PV online and that could make a difference if she sucks! If anyone wants to send me a private message about this please do so.

Not sure what information you need, so forgive me for any overkill...
The GCC (Glendale COmmunity College) class in Patho, had online modules about every chapter, they were huge modules, but contained alot of information that was useable. There was a large, very good book. The class instructor provided a study guide for each test. I learned that if you filled out the study guide (which was very large and comprehensive), you would have the necessary ifnormation for the test. There was a lot of reading, but it is a very important foundation course, so thats to be expected. Your tests were online, and timed. The time was tight, but if you did the study guide (at least in my class), all of the information you needed to pass had been covered. I believe my instructor was peterson (first name Randall, I remember that).
I did the reading, looked at some, not all, of the modules. Ended up with an A in the class, and actually felt like I had learned ALOT. Its not easy, but it is doable, I enjoyed it online, would do it again.
If you had any specific questions, please feel free to repost and I will see if i can answer them for you.
