How old were you when you finished nursing school?
I will turn 44 3 days before graduation with my BSN. Accelerated program, working full-time, and loving almost every minute of it. Kept putting it off thinking I was too old to start a new career, until one day I realized I could spend the rest of my life hating my job, or loving the new one... Its a tough program, and working full-time doesnt make it any easier, Im holding down a 3.5 GPA, and working hard at it. I dont think I had the dedication and the work ethic to give up my social life and get this done in my 20s, am always impressed with those that do.. Anything is possible....I will continue on to get my MSN, and perhaps even my NP or CRNA.....who knows what the future holds...

Patient made me feel like low life
Wow, stereotype much? I actually have tattoos, and ride a Harley. I am also a 4.0 student with 3 previous degrees currently working on my BSN. The tattoo on my wrist is a dedication to a friend who died, a motivatonal speaker who spent the last 13 years of his life, while dying of cancer, trying to remind people, that words hurt, and words can heal, and one should choose very carefully the words the use, because once spoken, cannot be forgotten. And the biker "gang"? Yes, indeed, we ride for charitable events, to raise money for children , support families who have lost fathers, mothers, daughters and sons, and to spread the word, that as human beings, we are all in this together. I welcome a comment on the tattoo that is visible, so I can share his words with others. Those who are wishing to comment....feel free, I would love to tell you about Michael

Should I take pathophysiology online?
Not sure what information you need, so forgive me for any overkill... The GCC (Glendale COmmunity College) class in Patho, had online modules about every chapter, they were huge modules, but contained alot of information that was useable. There was a large, very good book. The class instructor provided a study guide for each test. I learned that if you filled out the study guide (which was very large and comprehensive), you would have the necessary ifnormation for the test. There was a lot of reading, but it is a very important foundation course, so thats to be expected. Your tests were online, and timed. The time was tight, but if you did the study guide (at least in my class), all of the information you needed to pass had been covered. I believe my instructor was peterson (first name Randall, I remember that). I did the reading, looked at some, not all, of the modules. Ended up with an A in the class, and actually felt like I had learned ALOT. Its not easy, but it is doable, I enjoyed it online, would do it again. If you had any specific questions, please feel free to repost and I will see if i can answer them for you. T;)

Should I take pathophysiology online?
I was in the same boat, needed Pathophys, and couldnt fit it into my schedule. I took it online through GCC. It was tough, but its a tough class. My instructor supplied study guides, which were super beneficial. They took hours and hours to fill out, but if you knew that information, you were golden for the test. I enjoyed the class immensely, and think I actually learned more from the online class. Just my opinion, but I think you should go for it
