I have been trying to poke around and cannot find any guidance. I hope those experienced can shed some light.
I'm going to graduate in December 2010 from a program in Massachusetts and will be allowed to take the NCLEX late January 2011. The issue is that I will be relocating from Massachusetts to Pennsylvania in February 2011.
Should I take the NCLEX in Massachusetts and then try to get licensing in Pennsylvania? Is the process tedious? Costly? Do I still get to keep my license in Massachusetts?
Or..
Should I take the NCLEX in Pennsylvania and get licensed there? I am allowed, right?, given my Massachusetts education? The process should be the same as in Massachusetts?
I know my questions can sound trivial, but I am at my wits' end. The move is daunting. Thanks for any help you can offer.

If you are going to be living and working in PA as early as February, then take the NCLEX whereever and get the first license in PA. Don't bother with a MA license unless you intend to work in MA.
