Should I call?

Nursing Students CNA/MA

I had an interveiw at a Local Nursing Home that would train me as a CNA and if they accepted me into the program I should hear within the week. The interveiw was a week and a half ago. If I don't hear is it appropriate to ask? I've considered asking (if i didn't get the position) if they knew where else I could go to become certified, even if I had to pay. I don't want to sound desperate but this is so important to me, and I don't know if calling would be appropriate.

I don't see any problem with calling. Ugh that's one thing that makes me so mad about interviews! If you say you're going to call, CALL!! :angryfire But anyways I think you should call b/c maybe they can provide you with some more information. Good luck :)

I think you should definitely call. Personally, I think they wait for you to call to find out how interested you really are. They don't want to give the positions to people who just don't care. The worst that can happen is they say no and you are able to move on.

Good luck!
