A RN said during a code, you don't worry about counting 30:2. You just do compressions and breaths at the some time. That's news to me. What say you?

During BLS yes it's 30:2. People can vomit during compressions -- if a breath is being given with a bag-mask at the same time the emesis is coming up...a bad day for that pt just got worse.
Once an advanced airway is in place a breath is given every 6 seconds or so without stopping chest compressions.

If the patient is intubated, then no, it doesn't matter- the airway is protected. If using a BVM, then yes, you should count.
