Shoreline Winter 2015 Applicants

Hey guys! Recently applied to Shoreline for their Winter 6 quarter 2015. Wondering if anyone else had and what were your points? Anyone nervous or excited? I am a CNA with lots of volunteer hours as well as a 3.6 GPA. I've heard Shoreline is super competitive but also a really great, rigorous school.

Were those classes taken at Shorelkne or another community the because if so you had to get them evaluated before sending your application in

That's probably what happened, I took them at North Seattle College

Congrats tpeacoe1!! Were your calculations on your points correct? And did the letter say what the cutoff score to get in was?

They calculated my score to be 105.1 and there cutoff for this semester was 105.1. Which is incredibly high. Did you get in?

I haven't received a letter yet, but I am in San Diego so I expect to get it later this week. I calculated my points to be 105.9, so unless I am exactly right with my calculations I won't make the 105.1 threshold. That is a high cutoff as compared to what I've read about in the past as being the cutoff.

If you don't mind me asking, where were you not awarded points that you otherwise thought you had?

Did you get all 4 points from the educational bonus section?

I'm a little concerned that I may not have made the cut since I was already sitting at 105.9 by my calculations.

They didn't include that information. I'm in Virginia and got my letter today so maybe check your mail! Hopefully you got in! I don't think I got a volunteer experience 6 pts. I know at least one of them counted but not the other

Yes! I went there and had a meeting with the Program Director! Have you sign up for classes yet?
