Shoreline Winter 2015 Applicants

Hey guys! Recently applied to Shoreline for their Winter 6 quarter 2015. Wondering if anyone else had and what were your points? Anyone nervous or excited? I am a CNA with lots of volunteer hours as well as a 3.6 GPA. I've heard Shoreline is super competitive but also a really great, rigorous school.

According to their calculation when I applied I had 106, but when I did it I had 111. Hopefully we both make it that would be nice :) Do you live in Seattle? I live closer to Olympia. Im a little worried about the commute.

Hey guys, I also applied for Shoreline Winter 2015 and am very anxious to hear back. I calculated my points to be 105.9, I hope it's enough to get in this quarter. I live in San Diego and am planning to move back to Seattle, and I'm guessing that I'll receive my response a couple days after you, so it would be great if you guys post when you get your letters so I have an idea if mine is on the way! I talked to the lady today and she said they will be sending letters out starting on Monday! Hopefully we all get into their program! I'll be commuting about an hour to get there everyday

That's good news! I guess I'll get mine closer to the end of the week, and of course Veteran's Day is on Tuesday so that will push it out a day. Yes, hopefully we all get in, I'm pretty sure with a 111 points you're pretty much guaranteed to get in. Thanks for the update!

Hi guys, I just got my letter and I didn't get in. Apparently they didn't calculate my 4 points from the bonus classes. I will try to go and talk to them. I wish they were specific in the letter about why those points were missing. Good luck to you all!

What kind of bonus classes did you include?

I included Medical Terminology and Human Health& Sexuality =D

I included medical terminology too along with a computer science course. I guess I'll probably get declined too then :(

Maybe not. They didn't show my points for those classes, even if it was 0. For example, for Nutrition it says "na", in Compass scores it says "na" but in Educational Bonus theres nothing. So i'm thinking that's an error. @tpeacoe1 keep your hope!

Were those classes taken at Shorelkne or another community the because if so you had to get them evaluated before sending your application in
